Description

Springtime at its best, with pink and white apple blossoms in full bloom along the park path. This was painted in Como Park (St Paul, Minnesota) several years ago and a great many of these trees are no longer there, so I'm glad that I was able to capture the image of them in paint. It was the perfect morning for painting, with a clear blue sky and a very comfortable temperature for painting.

Week 42 May 15 - 21 Congratulations go out to Rick Hansen as Artist of the Week. Rick has only been with us since August of '21 and has been a contributor to the group in every aspect, even though he has only has 4 images in his group portfolio. This was a big surpri se to me after perusing his personal FAA portfolio is stellar!! Because he has so few images in the group, I am going to make a rare exception and allow anyone who wishes to send him congratulations, can actually pick images from his personal portfolio and post it here in this thread only.
