Description
Sailboats, sailing on Lake Superior, near the rocky coastline, on a beautiful summer day. This is just south of Tetegouche State Park and Split Rock Lighthouse, looking north along the Minnesota side of the lake. The perfect day to be on the lake enjoying outdoor activities, such as fishing; boating, sailing; swimming and or just enjoying the sunny day!
Lake Superior is the largest freshwater lake in the world by surface area. It is fed by 300 different streams and rivers, the largest of which is Ontario's Nipigon River, and is said to be the clearest and cleanest of the Great Lakes.
